Research Project #4

Question 1: What do you think should be done to mitigate these attacks?         There's multiple things businesses can do to prevent attacks from happening, one was even stated in the article. The article stated " Brian Vecci, technical evangelist at data protection firm Varonis, believes organizations should avoid doing business with vendors not capable of demonstrating that only the right users have access to sensitive data, and that they have mechanisms in place for detecting compromised users and systems." I believe that would be a good start to limiting attacks. Because like the article even stated "more and more breaches start from a compromised third party." I believe businesses should be cautious when doing business with others and be cautious who they give information to. It could be very easy to give sensitive information to the wrong people. Another way they could prevent breaches is by upping the security they have on their information. Make sure

Research Project #3

     1.     Estimate your weekly social media usage in minutes. Then measure your usage over the next week. How close was your estimate?    I estimate that I will use my social media for about 3 hours a week, I will track this throughout the week and use an app called screen time that is included with my phone. After about a week of monitoring my usage I looked at the end of the week for the total amount of time i was on social media. And boy was my estimate wayyy off. I found that in total I was on my phone for 49 hours and 13 of those hours were on a social media app. I was shocked when I saw these results because I had no idea that I use social media as much as I do.      2    . How critical do you believe social media is to the advancement of your career or your life?      While social media has been linked to the cause of anxiety and depression it plays a huge role in our daily lives. A lot of things now a days are web based. And most businesses use apps to help promote

Research Project #2: SDLC Models

After doing plenty of research to better understand the SDLC models I've discovered there are many pros and cons with each of the models so it took me quite a little while to decide which one I thought would be the best fit. I didn't want one that couldn't handle a long ongoing project because you never know when you'll need that. So the models that couldn't support the ongoing projects were immediately out of question. After weighing each pro and con I decided I would choose the Agile model. It took a lot of comparing to come to this conclusion but the reason I decided this model would be best fit is because I feel as though all of the pros it had really masked all the cons. They're cons I can look past because the model itself comes with many benefits. Such as it being easy to manage,  Functionality can be developed rapidly and demonstrated,  Minimal rules, documentation easily employed, etc. Having a model that's easy to manage and

Intel 10th-gen Whiskey Lake chip

After doing quite some research on the Intel 10th-gen Whiskey Lake Chip I found that I wouldn't waste my money investing in the chip because after reading various different websites and reviews it's just far to similar to the other chips to wanna invest any money into it. I'm quite confused as to why it was made if it wasn't going to be much different.. I feel as though they should've tried harder when it came to making the chip. As I said I wouldn't bother wasting my money on the chip.
